Why the Snuggle Sessions are the Best.
One of the best ideas I have implemented for Key Moments recently is the monthly snuggle sessions and here’s why.
Unlike my spring, fall, and winter sessions; the only theme for these sessions is love. No props or setups. Just a mom snuggling her babies. The goal of these sessions is to produce emotive, organic, gorgeous images of moms in their element.
As a mom myself, I know that we usually end up behind the camera and at the end of the day we all wish we had more pictures of ourselves with our children.
As a photographer I can say that there is something different in a Mother’s face when she is smiling at her child. There is a glow that appears when a mom is singing, cuddling, tickling, or rocking her sweet babies. That smile and that glow are reserved for her children and to be able to document that is a powerful honor for me.
These 20-minute snuggle sessions are held once a month at sunset here on the farm.
Once you select your date and time we will start to prepare for your shoot. I am very hands-on with helping you select the perfect wardrobe and offer an interactive styling service as well.
On the day of your session you and your sweet children will show up and play and dance and cuddle and laugh. I have a ton of tried and true prompts and games to elicit those powerful images of your child engaging with you.
After your shoot, in two weeks, you will receive a gallery with all of your images where you can instantly download, share, print, love, and hopefully display them in your home forever.
